These terms set out the agreement between you and Nimble Church Network (“Nimble,” “we,” “our” or “us”) when you use nimble.church and the services offered through it. By using the site, creating an account, applying for membership or credentialing, or submitting content, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Who we are
Nimble is a church network, credentialing body and ministry resource hub. We connect churches, ministries and individual leaders, review applications for membership, license and ordain ministers, publish teaching resources, and offer tools for organizations to manage their people and content.
Your account
You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account. You agree to give accurate information, to keep your sign-in details private, and to tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. One person, one account: please do not share a login or create accounts on behalf of others.
Membership, licensing and ordination
Applications are reviewed by our team and by the organizations that walk with applicants. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance, and a credential does not guarantee a role, a placement or an income. Credentials are issued at our discretion, must be kept current, and may be renewed, suspended or withdrawn where an application is found to contain false information, where required standards are not met, or where conduct brings the network into disrepute. Credentials are ministry recognition within this network; they are not a civil licence to practice any regulated profession.
Directory listings and organization content
Organizations are responsible for the accuracy of their listing, including their name, location, contacts, leadership and the pictures they publish. Listings are verified by us but verification is not an endorsement of every statement a ministry makes. We may edit, unpublish or remove a listing that is misleading, inactive, duplicated or in breach of these terms.
What you post
You keep ownership of the words, pictures and files you post. By posting them you give us permission to store, display and share them as part of running the site, for example showing an article in the resource library or a photograph on your organization's profile. Only post content you have the right to share. Content that is unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, plagiarised, or that misrepresents another person or ministry does not belong here, and we may remove it and, where needed, close the account that posted it.
Acceptable use
Do not break the law, attempt to access data that is not yours, probe or disrupt the service, scrape the directory or member details, send unsolicited messages to other members, or use the site to sell or promote something unrelated to ministry. Do not impersonate anyone, and do not present an unverified ministry as one of our listed organizations.
Giving and payments
Giving is processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store card details on our own systems. Amounts given to a member ministry go to that ministry; gifts to Nimble support the network. Refunds follow the policy of the payment provider and, where relevant, the receiving ministry.
Other services we link to
Some parts of the site connect to outside services, such as reading plans, podcasts, video hosts and payment providers. Those services have their own terms, and we are not responsible for their content or their handling of your information. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.
Resources and intellectual property
Teaching, articles, curricula, documents and design belong to Nimble or to the ministry that produced them. You may use member resources within your own ministry. Please do not republish, resell or rebrand them, or remove attribution, without permission from whoever owns them.
Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep the site available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change, add or retire features, and we may suspend the service for maintenance. Where a change materially affects your account we will let you know through the site or by email.
Disclaimer
The site and its content are provided as they are. Teaching and resources are offered for your own discernment and study; they are not legal, financial, medical or professional advice, and they are not a substitute for the counsel of your own leadership.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Nimble is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of income, opportunity or data, arising from your use of the site or from content posted by others. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Ending your account
You may ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or puts other members at risk. Records we are required to keep, such as credentialing history, may be retained after an account closes.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the network grows. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the site after an update means you accept it.
Getting in touch
Questions about these terms, a credential, a listing or content on the site can be sent to our team through the contact form on nimble.church.
