Gifted To Go

Gifted To Go

Gifted to Go

You weren’t just filled — you were sent.

There’s a reason the Holy Spirit showed up in a windstorm. Acts 2 reminds us that the Spirit doesn’t come quietly to stay still — He comes to fill, to move, to send.

This week I talked about the difference between natural abilities and spiritual gifts. One you’re born with. The other you’re reborn with.

Spiritual gifts aren’t just personality perks. They’re power tools. And they’re not given for performance—they’re given for purpose.

“A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other.”
(1 Corinthians 12:7, NLT)

The Spirit doesn’t wait for the most confident person in the room. He empowers the most available. If you’ve been wondering when it’s time to move, the answer is: You’re gifted to go.

What’s the difference?

Too many believers are sitting with their gifts like museum pieces—admired but unused. But gifting was never meant to be a label. It’s a launchpad.

  • Natural ability helps you succeed
  • Spiritual gifting helps others grow
  • Natural talent elevates you
  • Spiritual gifts elevate Christ

The Holy Spirit doesn’t give out spiritual gifts for applause. He gives them for impact.

How to Move from Sitting to Going

If you’re tired of waiting for a “big moment,” maybe this is it. Here are a few questions to wrestle with this week:

  • Have I mistaken ability for anointing?
  • Where have I been sitting on a gift God gave me to release?
  • What would it look like to activate my spiritual gifts this week?

The Spirit is not static. And neither are you.
You weren’t gifted to stay. You were Gifted to Go.
